Girl Scouts of Orange County are invited to earn a cybersecurity badge ​​at ​Coastline College’s Garden Grove center on Saturday, April 4, 2020 ​9:00AM-3:30PM. The event will ​be ​an ​exciting ​mix ​of ​hands-on ​experience, ​meeting ​inspirational ​women ​in ​security, ​and ​a capture-the-flag competition. ​ ​All ​interested ​Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts of Orange County ​are ​invited. The ​girls ​will ​experience ​cybersecurity lessons ​through ​meeting ​and ​hearing ​from ​women ​working ​in ​security, ​a ​variety ​of ​brain-stretching ​activities, ​and ​an ​opportunity ​to ​talk ​with ​other ​Girl Scouts from Orange County area. ​ ​

8:45AM-9:00AM – Check-in and morning snacks (submit Photo Consent forms)
9:00AM-9:15AM – Binary Bracelets Workshop
9:15AM-9:45AM – Intro and Empowerment Discussion
9:45AM-12:45PM – Hands-on Workshops
12:45PM-1:30PM – Lunch and Roundtable Talks
1:30PM-3:15PM – Capture-the-flag (CTF)
3:15PM-3:30PM – Closing Ceremony
