CyberTech Girls at Coastline College will be an exciting mix of hands-on experience, meeting inspirational women in security roles, and fun with cybersecurity topics. All interested middle school and high school girls from Santa Ana Unified School District, their parents, coaches, mentors, and teachers are invited to attend the event that will be held on 01/19/19 9:00AM-2:00PM. The girls will experience cybersecurity lessons through meeting and hearing from women working in security, a variety of brain-stretching activities, and an opportunity to talk with other girls from Orange County.
Tentative Agenda:
8:45AM-9:00AM – Check-in (pickup CTG t-shirt and submit Photo Consent forms)
8:45AM-9:30AM – Morning snacks available
9:00AM-9:30AM – Binary bracelets workshop
9:30AM-10:00AM – Intro to CyberTech Girls and Coastline’s Program
10:00AM-10:30AM – Empowerment exercise
10:30AM-12:00PM – 1st and 2nd Workshops (45 minutes each)
12:00PM-1:00PM – Roundtable talks, lunch, and team photos
1:00PM-1:45PM – 3rd Workshop
1:45PM-2:00PM – Closing ceremony
